About This Lesson

Aerial Silks consist on looped fabric with a single rigging point. In this class, students will begin to build their aerial silks/split fabric/tissue foundational skills. This level curriculum includes over 100 different skills. Students will learn beginner climbs, descents, wraps, hip keys, footlocks, belays, crossback entries, inversions, double and single fabric poses, hitch skills, rolls and splitty skills. Students will work in grip strength and hallow body progression. All skills are taught under fabric theory. Each class will consist of a proper warms up, activation, skill portion, conditioning & cool down/flexibility.

Prerequisite: Intro to Aerial Silks Workshop, instructor waiver or private introductory session.
